Fabulous Fury supports

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT

in Essex

Since his days singing second bass with the Waltham Singers and performing at the annual Macmillan Christmas Concert in Chelmsford Cathedral, Fabulous Fury has supported the Macmillan Cancer Support charity, raising money through sales of CDs and performing at local events.

One such event is the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, held every year in September throughout the UK and beyond. Hosted in previous years by BBC Essex, the town centre coffee morning in Chelmsford raises an increasing amount year on year towards the tremendous total the charity achieves annually.

In September, 2009, the event was hosted in part by The Saracens Head Hotel in Chelmsford High Street, drawing in crowds of shoppers with several acts performing for their entertainment. With coffee and cakes being served in copious quantity over £700.00 was raised at The Saracens alone, with much more collected around the town and at other coffee mornings across Essex.

Coming Soon

VINYL ReCOLLECTION,

The Album

Following the success of the show Vinyl Recollection, introduced by Fabulous Fury in 2010, an album of songs from the show, dating from the 1950s is soon due for release . Recording will  begin in late March 2012 and once again, proceeds from the sale of the CD will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Recording some of the music that he grew up listening to has been a life long ambition of Fabulous Fury singer, Andrew Tween, so this is a collection of the early chart hits, taken from his parent's record collection, that inspired him to study music and ultimately perform the songs of the era.

Dedicated to his father, Jack, who sadly passed away from cancer in September, 2011, the album is also in recognition of the amazing work and support given by the district nursing staff in his home town of Crewkerne in Somerset and the Macmillan centre at Yeovil General Hospital.
